The results of First Assist's mini health assessments showed male brokers, both under and over 40, were at a lower risk from smoking and physical inactivity than the average UK male; but brokers of both age groups showed a higher-than-average risk of excess alcohol levels, being overweight, and elevated cholesterol and blood pressure. Female brokers over 40 were at a higher risk than the average UK female, due to excess alcohol consumption and elevated cholesterol levels.
