BIBA looks optimistically to the regulatory future of the market.

Alex Broad reports from the British Insurance Brokers' Association conference, held in Manchester on 18 and 19 April.

A record 830 delegates attended this year's British Insurance
Brokers' Association conference, held at the Manchester International
Conference Centre.


The event was themed 'Scaling the Heights' and was kicked off by BIBA
chairman George Nixon. He stated that the opportunities for brokers and
the market for insurance advice are "terrific", regardless of impending
changes to regulation.


Mr Nixon warned it will be more difficult for brokers to rely on
commission for their reward in future, however.
