Liability insurers could provide at least 21 days notice of renewal terms to brokers from November 2003, under a new initiative from the British Insurance Brokers' Association and the Association of British Insurers.
BIBA and the ABI have joined forces to publish a new statement of good practice and are encouraging members to adhere to the terms.
The statement applies to both employers' and public liability insurance, and products in which EL and PL are part of a package.
