Owning a boat has always been considered a rich person's sport butthe popularity of boating is currently at an all-time high. The British
Marine Federation, for example, estimates that 3.5million people in the UK
are now involved in boating in some way.
While it is no longer the sole preserve of the the rich, however, the vast
majority of those owning a yacht fall into the high net worth
category.
The high net worth end of the pleasure craft market continues to be
buoyant as it is closely linked
