NIG has launched an engineering inspection service to new and existing motor trade customers. This follows the addition of engineering breakdown cover last year. The service is available on all NIG motor trade policies and allows policyholders to extend their policies to include engineering inspection of all statutory items for a fixed price. This means that they no longer need to list all statutory items legally requiring inspection and there's no longer a charge for inspection of each
