The British Insurance Brokers' Association has still not found a suitable replacement for outgoing chief executive Mike Williams.
Williams is leaving the organisation on 12 September, after which the position will remain empty until a replacement is found. Any new candidate is likely to have to give six months' notice but BIBA remains confident it will have a new chief executive in place for its annual conference in April 2004.
BIBA chairman Hamish Ritchie will step into the breach for the interim
