Products: Groupama makes products available for integration with brokers’ software
Groupama has made Optima Property, an online commercial property owners’ product, and Optima Trade Plus for micro SMEs available for full-cycle trading on Open GI, Acturis and Insurecom. It promised that integration with SSP will also take place by early 2013.
The provider accepted that e-trading systems have been operating already from individual insurers via their extranet sites and that comparative internet sites have provided brokers with access to multiple insurers for package products in a competitive and transparent environment. However, it claimed that generally, these systems have not integrated with brokers’ systems – meaning duplication of effort and higher costs for all concerned.
