Fraudster sentenced for dishonest home insurance application
Father sentenced to 100 hours of community service after lying about son's criminal convictions.
Mohammed Rustam Khan of 82 Rectory Road in London has been found guilty of providing false information to obtain insurance by the court, according to Axa.
When applying for his cover, Khan claimed that no one living at his home had any criminal convictions, despite his son having history as an offender.
Axa stated that the fraud was uncovered after suspicions were raised over two claims made by the father on his car insurance policy with Swiftcover and his home insurance policy with Axa.
