Law student gets 18 months for insurance fraud
Insurance fraudster jailed after creating fake invoices in attempt to claim £25,000.
Peter Emiantor, 37, of Winchester Road in Southampton has been sentenced to 18 months in prison after attempting to claim £25,000 on insurance by creating fake invoices for items which he alleged had been stolen during a burglary at his home.
On 28 March 2014, Emiantor made a report to Hampshire Police that his house had been burgled.
On 7 May 2014, the law student made a further statement to the police claiming that several items had been stolen including a Breitling watch worth £6,580, two
