Settlement costs unnamed Gallagher executives £2m

Former executives need to repay employee loans and retention awards.

The settlement in court between Arthur J Gallagher and David Ross and others will cost some of the broker's former executives £2m.

A report from Gallagher read that under the terms of the settlement, "certain of the former executives will repay employee loans and retention awards in the amount of approximately £2m".

The case, revealed exclusively by Insurance Age, began in March and was settled in late August with Gallagher receiving £20m.
