Market moves: Coming and going
Brokers dominated market moves last month. The amount of column inches dedicated to broker recruitment news frankly dwarfed the space given to insurer appointments.
Towergate led the way in market moves, with 12 appointments across the UK. The consolidator added five regional development underwriters to its numbers, with Alan Craig joining from NFU to work with brokers in Northern Ireland, Stephen Robinson moving from QBE to look after the London region and Mark Johnson, previously at Bluefin, joining to cover East Anglia.
Brian McDonagh was promoted from within Fusion to work with brokers in Scotland and Richard Fensham was also promoted to handle brokers
