Aon takes 10 floors of 'Cheese Grater'
Aon is to move into the heart of the London insurance community after agreeing to take 10 floors of the Leadenhall Building in Leadenhall Street.
At 736ft the building, dubbed the Cheese Grater, will be one of the tallest towers in the city.
Construction on the building was halted during the financial crisis but was restarted after British Land signed Oxford Properties as a joint venture partner to the scheme.
The decision will bring Aon within spitting distance of its rival Willis which occupies the property directly opposite Lloyd’s on Lime Street.
