NIG held its first national conference for its commercial regional advisory panel brokers. The conference, themed Partners in Progress, provided an opportunity to question senior staff about NIG's future plans and strategy. Charles Earle, commercial managing director of NIG, told brokers that NIG would not be swayed from its determination to expand its SME business, and said that reports of extreme market softening of rates are much exaggerated.
