Five hundred and fifty brokers have signed up to Key Choice 'partner broker' status. Key Choice, operated by Software Solutions Partners, aims to sign up a further 350 SSP broker customers over the next six months. The general insurance products offered are supported by Fortis, MMA and Groupama. Other insurers in advanced discussions are NIG, Royal & SunAlliance and Zurich. Axa and Cox (Equity Red Star) are currently in early negotiations with Key Choice. Meanwhile, SSP has renamed its Insure/90

ABI records 3% home premiums rise in Q1

Average home insurance premiums for buildings and contents cover rose by 3% to £375 in the first quarter of this year, pushing the year-on-year rise up to 19%, according to the Association of British Insurers.
