Creditors of failed Independent Insurance have turned their sights onthe regulators as they take their fight to the European courts.
At a meeting last month, the Creditors of Independent Insurance Group(CIIG) announced its new strategy and the decision of its chairman, KevinYoung to step down.
Class Law, solicitor to the CIIG, has sent a complaint to the EuropeanCommission responsible for the insurance industry stating that the UKregulator failed to comply with articles in Council Directive73/259
