Holman's, the independent Lloyd's broker, has launched a newthird-party administrator (TPA), Sheraton Services, to concentrate on offering TPA facilities to a wide range of clients, service companies and brokers.

The new firm will focus on the all-risks, mechanical breakdown and extended warranty business. Sheraton will be based in Stratford-upon-Avon and will be headed by David Simpson.

ABI records 3% home premiums rise in Q1

Average home insurance premiums for buildings and contents cover rose by 3% to £375 in the first quarter of this year, pushing the year-on-year rise up to 19%, according to the Association of British Insurers.
