The Insurance Charities drives action against domestic abuse

Insurance Cares: Following reports of increased domestic violence in lockdown, the charity has updated its domestic abuse toolkit for employers.

The Insurance Charities has announced that it has updated its original domestic abuse toolkit following changes in the likelihood of domestic abuse in the last three years since its publication.

The organisation stated that Covid-19 has accelerated these changes, and domestic violence charity Refuge added that calls to helplines have increased by 61% since lockdown began.

In association with Business in the Community, Public Health England, and the Employers’ Initiative on Domestic Abuse (EIDA
