Brightside to launch MGA in September
CEO Mark Cliff says MGA will specialise in van and tradesman insurance.
Brightside Insurance chief executive officer Mark Cliff has revealed that the broker is developing a managing general agent (MGA) with the aim of launching it at the end of September 2017.
Cliff told Insurance Age that the new MGA will be led by Trevor Bowers, who recently joined the broker from Ageas, and will specialise in van and tradesman insurance.
"We're going through the process of building that at the moment," Cliff noted.
"We're talking to capacity, IT providers and claims providers."
