Reports that customer data study set for scrapheap denied
Review of how insurers use customer information still set to take place in some form.
Insurance Age understands that the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will still investigate how insurers use customer information "in some form" following reports that a market study into the area was set to be scrapped.
It had been reported that the FCA is poised to shelve a report into how the insurance industry uses customer information.
The Times reported that the investigation was set to be scrapped and followed the revelation that the regulator was also due to abandon its review into
