Hiscox sees record profits for UK and Europe
Chief underwriting officer Richard Watson confident about the future despite high levels of competition in the high net worth market.
Hiscox has seen record profits in the UK and Europe in the first half of 2015, according to chief underwriting officer Richard Watson.
Commenting on the insurer's interim results, Watson told Insurance Age: "It's a combination of the fact that it has been a benign year in regards to wind and flood, but we have also grown our network and invested in our brand and our products. We have seen good sales growth and traction while not having to deal with any bigger losses."
