AIG appoints Somers in regional push

Insurer says plan is to deliver more to brokers in the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

AIG has appointed Phil Somers as head of sales - North, in a push to strengthen and grow the business regionally.

Jeremy Sharpe, head of UK broker engagement and regions at AIG, said: "His experience will help us build on our strong regional presence to deliver more of what brokers in the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland are looking for is terms of meeting their needs."
