Temple Legal awarded injunction against ex-underwriting director

Provider pursued former employee for attempting to use confidential data and poach clients.

Temple Legal Protection has been granted an injunction against its former underwriting director Michael James Lent, as well as £50,000 in damages.

Lent left the legal expenses insurer in February 2014 with the intention of establishing his own underwriting agency, with the backing of Castel Underwriting Agencies, which is owned by Barbican.
