AIG names new UK commercial property head

AIG has named Steve Cousins as UK head of commercial property as the insurer sets its sights on the "next phase of evolution" in the market.

Cousins was previously senior vice president and regional property executive at AIG-owned Lex London. 

He will report to Jacqueline McNamee, UK commercial lines executive director and Erik Nikodem, property executive US and Canada region.

Cousins succeeds Hilary Flynn, who is joining AIG's EMEA property team as head of regional underwriting.
