Law Society aims to garner broker support for PII reform

The Law Society is looking to garner support from brokers and insurers for the use of its professional indemnity insurance (PII) composite proposal form.

The group is hoping to take its first steps towards a common proposal regime in a bid to 'make life easier' for its members during the PII renewal period.

The potential change would mean solicitors avoid having to complete multiple forms with the society arguing that a ‘one-form-fits-all' approach would be more beneficial.

The society claims ‘major' names providing PII coverage to solicitors have already lent their support for its composite proposal form.
