Farr unveils land contamination legal cover
Farr Insurance has launched an environmental impairment liability (EIL) cover product.
The Chelmsford-based social housing focused broker confirmed the EIL offering was designed to protect clients against their legal liability and associated costs arising from contamination in or under land owned by them.
The policy includes provision against the potential costs of cleaning up land damaged by creeping pollution, as well as compensation awarded for injury to people or damage to property. It also offers protection against legal costs, business interruption and diminution of value as
