Coface: Companies bearing the brunt of Eurozone crisis

Coface has warned that European companies face increased non-payment incidents and worsened credit risk as the crisis in the Eurozone continues.

The international insurer announced its country risk assessments at the Coface Country Risk Conference this week.

These assessments are not based on sovereign debt, but on economic, financial and political outlooks, business climate assessment and Coface’s payment experience.

The company announced that payment behaviour deteriorated in the second half of 2011, and for the whole of 2011 non-payment incidents rose by 19% worldwide.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
