Amii conference to question future role of PMI
The Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries (Amii) has announced the theme of “Hearts and Minds” for its 2011 exhibition and conference.
Topics at the conference, to be held at The Park Inn at Heathrow on 30 June, will include: whether private medical insurance has a role to play in the Big Society and cancer cover in the employer-paid private medical insurance (PMI) market.
However, the broker trade body said the theme of its big debate this year would focus on Hearts and Minds, two other high cost areas of healthcare - heart conditions and psychiatric treatment.
It added that the debate will ask whether it is actually better
