Paul Chase-Gardner Brightside

Paul Chase-Gardener, chief executive of Brightside, said it represents a significant step forward

Brightside Group is raising £20m to finance the growth of its broking, premium finance and medical reporting business.

The funding will also be used to allow the group to invest in new technology to broaden its online offering.

The underwritten placing will raise £20m before expenses (£19.1m net of expenses), at a price of 22p per new ordinary share. The new ordinary shares will represent approximately 21.7% of the company’s issued ordinary share capital immediately following admission.
