Technology designed to enable safe remote control of stolen vehicles fitted with GPS location-and-tracking telematics has been launched. The solution, called 'The Enforcer', was created by UK fuel injection and diagnostics specialist Mobilizer. It gives police officers in a patrol car, helicopter or static observation position the power to remotely control the engine performance of the target vehicle, bringing it gradually and safely to rest at a time and place of the police's choosing.
