Patrick Smith to step down as Swinton CEO
Swinton's current deputy chief executive Peter Halpin will take as over the chief executive role from Patrick Smith, who is to remain on the board as chairman.
The announcement came as the high street broker reported record profits of £50.1m, a 4% increase on last year, and premium income of £763.9m for 2008.
Mr Smith, outgoing CEO of Swinton said: "I have had lots of fun at Swinton.
