Marsh appoints Nicholson chairman of Scottish operations
Marsh has appointed its UK chief operating officer, John Nicholson, as chairman of its Scottish operations, effective 1 January 2008.
Mr Nicholson will have overall responsibility for Marsh’s offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, where he will be based. He will remain a director of Marsh and a member of its Audit and Risk Committees.
Mr Nicholson’s role will include stewardship responsibilities for the firm’s Scottish client base, which ranges from mid-market businesses to Scottish blue-chip companies as well as international organisations with Scottish interests, providing them with integrated risk solutions from across
