I have read the Overheard column (PB, May 2004) and am sorry to say that it is facetious and inaccurate. Kindly note I am not purchasing an apartment on the development in Dubai but a six-bedroom villa with its own beach.

The Palm development is an architectural and structural marvel of modern times and a number of world dignitaries have purchased these properties.

Any derogatory remark concerning the development is not really suitable.

With regard to Camberford Law Network Extra, we have effected the appropriate modifications and it was marketed with vigour at the British Insurance Brokers' Association Conference in Glasgow and we anticipate to go forward with strength.

I trust this clarifies the position.
