UK flights delayed until Tuesday
The air traffic control body Nats has extended its restrictions on UK airspace until at least 1am on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, some in the airline industry are beginning to question the rationale behind shutting down airspace for so long and are conducting test flights to support their case.
British Airways has said that no airline would be covered for such an event in terms of business interruption, and thus the volcano will hit the airline's revenue once again following the recent cabin crew strike.
