Unite announces British Airways strike dates

BA cabin crew set to strike

Unite, the union representing British Airways' cabin crew, will begin a three-day strike on 20 March and then conduct a four day strike on 27 March. 

There had been intense negotiations between BA and the union but no agreement over cost cuts could be reached. British Airways said its offer had been reasonable and fair and that "Unite's action has no shred of justification."
