The Folgate Partnership has strengthened its presence in Yorkshire
and the Home Counties with further acquisitions in the regions. It has
purchased Yorkshire-based RBR Insurance Brokers and, as part of the deal,
completed the acquisition of local broker Hainsworth Watts. Hainsworth
Watts will move into RBR's offices and the combined operation will control
£40m premiums in the region. In the Home Counties, the Folgate Partnership
has acquired Milton Keynes-based broker DPR Holdings.
