Insurecom came out of the red in the first half of the year with profits of £203,000 before interest and tax. Phillip Walter, chief executive of Insurecom, promised the money would be pumped back into its development programme. The software house cited its Financial Services Authority toolkit as one area which had helped the business progress. Insurecom also claimed it had "record migration" from several rival software houses.
