CGU'S Planet brokers and Link agents have reacted angrily to the
tough new terms and rates that have recently been imposed on them.


Much to the surprise of the broker market, CGU has withdrawn its notorious
price-matching facility for new business and is forcing rate increases of
up to 20% on all Planet and Link firms.


Planet brokers are, in the main, successful commercial brokers which agree
to place a sizeable proportion of their accommodation personal lines
business with CGU in return for
