The primary group has branded speculation that subsidiary Vega's acquisition of FM Green has been delayed due to a lack of funds as 'nonsense'.

Market rumblings that the Financial Services Authority was delaying its approval of the deal have become more pronounced as completion slips further from the anticipated completition date at the end of June. Rumour has suggested that Bermudan-based Primary had grown too quickly and had run out of funds - hence the FM Green delay - and was looking to raise
