Accidentcare, which runs the credit hire emergency car scheme for theAssociation of British Insurers, is planning to expand to exploit the
Lords' ruling in the Dimond v Lovell credit hire case.
The company hopes to take on extra staff and begin a big marketing push in
the next few weeks for its motorists' membership scheme based on
underwritten car hire through National Car Rental. The Lumacare division
of Accidentcare, which provides claims assistance to members, runs the
ABI's car hire scheme.
