Japanese insurer Mitsui Marine & Fire Insurance has poached a group of key staff from troubled Royal & SunAlliance in order to establish a new insurance company in the UK. The new start-up will write commercial lines and financial risks business.Former RSA board director Peter Foreman will chair the new venture, with Allan Guest, ex-underwriting director for the London market at RSA, heading up the new team.
Other recruits include: former manager of professional and financial risks Bob Ripley
