Brit insurance has appointed John King to the newly created role of portfolio director (short tail). King has 24 years' experience in the London Market and joins after five years with Beazley Group. Meanwhile, Neil McMillan has also been hired as class underwriter for property liability within its global markets business. Joining Brit Insurance after four years at Canopius Managing Agents, McMillan has 26 years' experience in the London Market. He began his insurance career at Lloyd's Syndicate
