As students receive their GCSE, A-level and degree results, Caerphilly-based broker Moorhouse has stated that recruiters should look for common sense and life experience over top-end grades. Chief executive Lyndon Wood said 90% of Moorhouse's staff have arrived "green" at the company, 65% of whom are under the age of 25. He commented: "We provide opportunity for youngsters who are on NVQ level one and start on zero salary, but we provide a career within three months once trained."
