Allianz Cornhill Engineering has more than doubled the size of its underwriting team.
The division's technical underwriting team has grown from six to 13 during the past 12 months and is still recruiting. It is looking for two specialist engineering risk surveyors, one of whom will have responsibility for the North and the other the South.
Allianz Cornhill Engineering also has 35 business development underwriters, spread across the major insurance markets.
