A group mentality

Broker networks have burst onto the scene over the past decade with more and more seeing the advantage of being part of a collective. Francesca Breeze assesses the differences between the young rivals and the more established players.

Broker networks have grown dramatically over the past 10 years.


There seems little doubt that brokers can have more influence collectively
than individually, but today's approach differs from what has tended to be
a confrontational stance. Threats and boycotts have given way to
partnership and understanding, the conditions under which many networks
thrive. On the face of it brokers have a lot to gain from joining a
network.


If it works well a network can address common issues such as insurer
service
