Brighton-based Drake Insurance is planning to make a move into theLloyd's market in a bid to expand its private motor operations.
David Prewer, chief executive of Drake Insurance, told PB that the company
is looking at Lloyd's because of the "efficiencies of capital" it can
offer.
He said: "We have put in an application to Lloyd's. However, we think that
a better route may be through merger or acquisition. We see this as a
