Brendan McManus, broker division managing director at Royal and SunAlliance, is to leave the insurer after more than 20 years to become chief executive of Willis UK and Ireland. One broker said: "Brendan will be great for Willis as they are a bit 'Chumley Warner' - they're a good outfit, just a bit too nice - and Brendan will certainly bring a much-needed edge to Willis."
