Northern Star's managing director, Les Jackson, has quit the companyalong with its marketing manager, Graham Deacon, and administration
manager Mike Vans Sloot. The departures follow the takeover of the
Gloucester-based insurer by Fortis-owned Bishopsgate.
In total, 15 managers have left, or are in the process of leaving,
Northern Star. A further 25 branch and field employees are being made
redundant as a result of the closure of Northern Star's Manchester and
Croydon branches, and another 45 at
