Just 10% of companies with motor fleets advise their staff on careful driving, despite the fact that company car drivers have more accidents than private motorists.
According to a survey of over 500 companies by Pay Magazine, road safety is still not high on the list of priorities for fleet managers. However, the survey did find that 15% of companies offer safety advice to female drivers and 5% show employees how to diffuse a road rage situation. A further 10% plan to provide similar advice
