Amid news that hackers have defrauded online bank Egg, a MORI poll has found that 42% of internet surfers who have never shopped online are discouraged by security fears.
In a survey commissioned by telebroker and online intermediary Peoples' Choice, MORI revealed that drivers already using the internet would be as happy to buy online as on the high street. It discovered 7% of drivers already bought their car insurance online and 63% of drivers said they would consider changing their insurer
