Pet Plan, the specialist animal insurance subsidiary of Cornhill Insurance, has acquired Bankers Insurance Company's equine direct business.The administration of Bankers' equine direct policies will be transferred to Pet Plan's head office on renewal. They will be handled by the existing specialist equine team. Petplan Equine was launched in 1988 and is the largest equine insurer in the UK.
